Female Reproductive System Diseases Endometriosis - a condition involving colonization of the abdominal/pelvic cavity with islands of endometrial tissue. Endometrium is the lining layer of the uterus which sloughs off with each menstruation. If endometrial tissue flushes up the uterine tube and spills into the abdomen (peritoneal cavity), the clots of endometrial tissue can attach to abdominal organs such as the bladder, rectum, intestinal loops and then cycle along with the uterus in response to monthly changes in ovarian hormones. Bleeding into the abdomen irritates the lining membrane, the peritoneum, and causes abdominal pain. Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) – although males have a closed abdominal cavity, the female abdominal cavity has a direct anatomical path from the outside world via the female reproductive tract. Bacteria can make their way up the vagina, through the uterus, and traverse the uterine tubes which open into the abdominal cavity. Inflammation of the lining of the abdominal cavity, the peritoneum, causes abdominal pain. Although there are many potential causes of PID, gonorrheal infection is one of them. Chronic Inflammation of the uterine tubes can occlude them resulting in infertility. Prolapsed uterus – the uterus is almost directly above the vagina. In fact, the cervix, the neck region, of the uterus extends into the upper vagina. Ligaments hold the uterus in proper position so that it does not prolapse or herniate into the vagina. Severe prolapse can result in the uterine cervix protruding from the vaginal opening. Surgical repair is typically required to restore the uterus to its proper anatomical position. Definitely they were not married, but they had a child. Stella said he asked her to come for the thanksgiving service. It was there that I met Iyabo's mother, the woman who included my name in her book, titled, " Bitter Sweet". She did not know I was going to be there because, I had never seen her before in public. It was much later that I learnt that they moved back into their home; that she and Obasanjo had reconciled. Obasanjo only went to work in Otta on Mondays to Fridays and would return to Abeokuta their family home at weekends. He was still having his holidays this period in preparation for a thanksgiving service to round off his tenure as Head of State properly.
Most people normally have thanksgiving service whenever they are retiring from service. So, he invited us to the thanksgiving. We didn't know the other woman would be there.
So, Stella and I entered the house. We just walked in and behold, the woman was able to recognize me. She thought that I was the one her husband was dating. She told me, that she heard that many women have kids for her husband, whether I am one of them? She said, is that not Julie Coker? I said yes. I was thinking she was going to be friendly but she was roaring like a tiger. She was really in a combatant mood. When I saw her mood, I was like, trying to stay a bit far from her because, I knew with the mood , if she had something dangerous, she would have used it on me. But luckily, there were a lot of people there.
Where was Obasanjo when this was happening?
I think he overheard her when we were arguing because as I was telling her no, I was not one of them, he came out from the room where he was. When she saw him, she mellowed down. That was like the second time I came face to face with him after the FESTAC incident. I now pleaded with her. I told her that we came to celebrate with her and her husband, our out-going Head of State after a successful tenure. She asked why we didn't go to the reception, why did we come to the house? But it was the man that insisted Stella must come to the house. But I couldn’t tell her that

Sunday, February 9, 2014 Pastors, wives open up on sex life by Bosede Olusola-Obasa Toyin-Kehinde and Adewale advertisement Click Here You see him on Sunday morning well dressed in his three piece suit and looking freshly anointed. The picture you see is that of a cherub, who has just arrived from the heavens with a message for the people and would be back there soon after. Once he starts to preach, the congregation is overwhelmed with the awe he exudes. Because this is all they know about him, some followers believe that is all about the pastor. Ask some Christians and they will bet their life savings that their pastors have never visited the toilet, not to talk of having sex. Where on earth do they have the time for such things, they seem to assert in illusion. They base their judgement on the fact that usually, a pastor is seen praying, preaching or counselling; so the average congregant believes he must be a super being, who never answers to any call of nature - especially sex. The pastor is perhaps the most misunderstood and over-rated being on earth today. He is rated as a semi-god, incapable of enjoying the pleasures that life presents him. This is so because he rarely talks to his adherents about other areas of his life. Saturday PUNCH asked some pastors and pastors' wives if they have erotic feelings and sexual closeness with their spouses like other people. They said the illusion that pastors don't have sex life only lies in the minds of few ignorant congregants. "Sex is a beautiful gift from God within the marriage context. It is not possible for my husband not to have sex. He feels the same way other men feel because he is human. It is the food of our marriage just as food is to the body. We make it a regular affair because the absence of it can negatively affect our relationship and even his work as a pastor," said Pastor (Mrs.) Kemi Olofinkua of the New Anointing Deliverance Church, Anifowose, Ikeja, Lagos. She said that both she and her husband do not take sex for granted because starving one another could cause a scandal, especially if not properly managed. She said that she seldom turned down her husband's invitation because strange women would willingly offer themselves if allowed. Olofinkua said, "People who think pastors don't have sex must be funny. No matter the level of anointing, a pastor needs his wife at home. The difference between a pastor and other men is that he can cope whenever his work demands that he abstains from sex. "But it is dangerous to make him burn with desire for sex without satisfying it with his wife. If this happens, he could be pushed out into the waiting arms of many others because pastoral work usually endears pastors to people - men and women. As a pastor's wife, I don't take my husband's sexual need for granted. When he beckons, no matter how tired I am, I don't turn him down." Similarly, Pastor Mrs. Shade Toyin-Kehinde said it is a fallacy to think or say that pastors don't have sex with their wives. She said, "Pastors are not woods. It is the same with pastors as it is for other men. Sex is an integral part of every marriage. It is anti-god to wish it away. A healthy, regular sex is important to pastors because it makes them to maintain focus and avoid falling on the laps of other desperate women, who wish to have them because of the glory on them." She said that she makes it a point of duty to 'serve' her husband, especially after he has done great spiritual exploits, adding that a pastor who has a poor sexual relationship with his wife would engage in extra-marital affairs. She said, "If your wife has just served you hot pounded yam and egusi soup before leaving home and someone then offers you beans, you will naturally turn down the offer because you're satisfy. I don't joke with my sexual relationship with my husband and I never say no to him." Toyin-Kehinde, who is the wife of the Pastor in charge of Agape Generation International Church, Maryland, Lagos, said there should be no week without sex between a pastor and his wife. She said a healthy sex in marriage enhances holiness. She said, "The anointing attracts goodwill and people. Some women in church get so carried away that they tell the pastor 'I just like you.' The pastor's wife must help her husband to overcome these overtures by being there for him. "My husband doesn't flirt but we have devised means to stay close always. Our offices are just side-by-side. When a woman comes to him for counselling and she is not properly dressed, he directs her to me. We preach healthy sex in marriage and we practise it." She said it is unfortunate that some pastors pretend to be too busy to enjoy sex in marriage. 84-year-old pastor shares experience Speaking from a male pastor's viewpoint, 84-year-old clergyman, Rev. Moses Iloh, who is a Senior Pastor at Soul Winning Chapel, Ebute Meta, Lagos, offered personal love experience. Having been married to his wife, Love, for 48 years, he said that a healthy sexual relationship, among other things, has made him a very happy man. He said that the secret of the erotic relationship between him and his wife is doing everything together. Iloh said, "When we are 50 years in marriage, we will get married again; we did same when we turned 25. "From the first day of marriage, we bathed together, ate together, shared the same bedroom. Our bodies belong to one another. With these activities, there can be no barriers to a good sex relationship. We don't starve ourselves of sex," he said. Iloh regretted that some pastors allow themselves to be overtaken by temptation because they neglect their wives in the name of being busy. He said, "It is foolish for a pastor to abandon his wife because he is doing God's work. His wife is his priority. "If you take good care of your wife, she will make love to you willingly. That is what I have been doing. I am 84 and very agile, happy because I have a happy home. Matrimony is the happiest thing that happened to me. My wife is not around now but wherever I am, I am always rushing home to be with my wife, friend and confidant. "People who run into hurting relationships are open to illnesses and may die young. They should seek help." 'Pastors crave more sex than others' Another male pastor, Pastor Bisi Adewale, said that nothing could be farther from the truth than believing that pastors do not have sex with their wives. He said pastors crave sex just like every other man and there should not be any pretence about it. "My wife is not available right now; she would have told you more. Pastors demand for sex more than men who are not pastors because they have only one wife to turn to. The fact that we are pastors doesn't eliminate our biological make up. There should be no pretence about this matter. "I heard of a pastor who said he was looking for God's power and abstained from his wife for more than 10 years and a prominent pastor in the country had to travel to Port Harcourt to settle the issue. His wife needed him, but he wasn't there. He didn't get her consent to go on a long period of abstinence to fast and pray to seek the power of God. His wife had to resort to the use of vibrator." He gave another instance when a pastor abstained from his wife for a long time to seek power until his mechanic impregnated his wife. He said that pretending about the need for sex is a major cause of scandals in ministries and it should be avoided. Special Report: How To Gain 10 KG Of Muscle In 4 Weeks Using A Diet Trick That Celebrities Use

NOTE: Limited Trials Available. The Free Trial Promotion For Power Precision Expires on Monday, February 10, 2014.
Power Precision Boosts Free Testosterone Up To 400% And Increases Metabolism Up To 200%.
For the past couple of months our readers have been going crazy over a new product consisting of a testosterone booster and a fat burning supplement that has been helping men across the world build significant muscle mass in 4-6 weeks. The product has just entered the market, and the company is currently giving away free trials to spread the word.
This unique forumula has quickly become the new secret among many elite trainers and athletes and has been used by celebrity trainers to quickly get actors ripped for their upcoming movie roles.
Critics say the compounds in Power Precision give athletes elevated testosterone levels and an "unfair advantage" that should be banned because it resembles steroids in it's benefits. Proponents argue that research shows the nutrient to be both natural, safe, and effective and that banning the natural compound would be like banning vitamins.

One thing people on both sides of this controversy agree on is that Power Precision's formula prodcues drastic results.

But it's not just critics and athletes claiming the muscle building and fat burning effects of Power Precision, there is real clinical data to back up these claims.

Clinical Studies (4X Testosterone Boost)

Let's cut to the chase: One of the main ingredients in Power Precision, Tribulus Terrestris, has been used as an herbal testosterone booster by elite trainers and athletes for quite some time now. In a recent study, researchers from Lithuania provided athletes 625 milligrams of Tribulus three times per day for 20 days, and they reported that circulating testosterone increased significantly – almost 4 times their initial free testosterone level. More importantly, there were no side effects reported.

Former Governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has said he did not attend the Friday meeting of Yoruba leaders on the proposed national conference because he was not invited.
A group, Yoruba Committee on National Conference, had met at the Isara-Remo, Ogun State-home of an elder statesman, Sir Olaniwun Ajayi, to strategise on the selection of delegates for the South-West geopolitical zone ahead of the conference.
Some of the prominent Yoruba leaders at the meeting were Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State; Afenifere leader, Chief Reuben Fasoranti; former Minister of Finance, Chief Olu Falae; Gen. Alani Akinrinade (retd.); activist lawyer, Dr. Tunji Braithwaite; Afenifere leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo; Bishop Bolanle Gbonigi (retd.); Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu; and the convener, Save Nigeria Group, Pastor Tunde Bakare.
Speaking to our correspondent on Saturday, Tinubu's media aide, Mr. Sunday Dare, said there were attempts by some leaders in the South-West to sideline other Yoruba leaders, especially those in the APC.
He said, "Have you asked whether they (APC leaders) were intimated about the meeting? There was no communication whatsoever. There was an attempt by a group of self-appointed Yoruba leaders to isolate some other persons. And this has been going on for a long time.

ACCESS BANK: AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH NIGERIAN BANKS (II)

here have been several responses to the first article with this title. The general impression out there is that the executives of Nigerian banks simply treat the banks they manage as their piggy banks and as a source to free-flowing access to a life of endless cash. The bank executives often avail themselves of interest free loans that run into hundreds of millions of naira, and at the very expense of shareholders and depositors. The worst side of the interest free madness is that executives who are owing a bank often collude with one another to write a bigger cheque for each other and use part of the new cheque to pay off the outstanding interest free loans they previously took from the bank. It is very improper for these executives to loan themselves huge sums of money and still charge no service fees. Executive management meeting can quickly turn out to be nothing but a pie sharing get-together for the big boys.
"Ol boy, I would love to bring Maria Carey to play for me in Nigeria."
"Why not? What is stopping you? You can if you so desire."
"That will cost me bundle."
"But you can bring her. Man, bring her! Let the boys enjoy and have some fun!"
"Don't you get the gist? I said I cannot spend my money to bring her."
"You are the one who is not following my drift. You can still bring her by letting the bank bring her. It is as simple as that."
"Umm…perhaps the bank can bring her, but for what?"
"New year party, Christmas Party, Send off party, the options are limitless."
"Remember Ladi brought Anita Baker, an old school diva to Nigeria for his spouse's birthday?"
"I remember. Gaining entry into that by-invitation-only birthday bash was as tough as the camel trying to go through the eye of the needle!"
"But this will be bigger and better…"
"And special, and the bank will pick up the tab!"

AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT IS WRONG WITH NIGERIAN BANKS (II)

The Zone is where the damage is done to the banks, the economy, the shareholders and the depositors. COT was introduced by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 2004 with the hope that it will eliminate the conflicts between banks and their customers. But since COT is being grossly abused by the banks and customers are being repeatedly charged, the CBN wants to eliminate COT altogether, and the banks are already charging customers other fees. The CBN realized that allowing the banks to continue to charge COT and many other fees amounted to double-dipping. COT is charged on a customer's account when he lodges a cheque into his account. He is charged COT again when he gives someone a cheque from the money recently deposited into the account. For a small scale business or a self-employed artisan that can mean a drain on his capital. COT has the ability to drive up the cost of doing business and the price of goods. The garri seller and the hairdresser must factor COT into garri and the price of hair care otherwise there may be nothing left.

COT is being gradually wind down and will be completely phased out by 2016. Are Nigerian banks ready to focus on core banking and dedicate their attention to helping the economy to grow and less to their own getting rich quick schemes? Foreign Exchange (FOREX) used to be the darling of the banks in the days when there were two rates in Nigeria; when Babangida and his fellow annihilators chose to prosper where they have not sown. With the CBN plan the banks will not be able to charge on returned outward clearing cheques or on transfers to other accounts in the same name, the same branch or at another branch of the same bank. Without doing any decent professional banking, the banks in Nigeria are merely living off the common man. Millions would prefer to be paid their salaries and wages in cash these days if allowed to do so.

SCIENCE AND FAITH: ARE THEY COMPATIBLE?
AN OPEN LETTER TO 15 - 22 YEAR OLDS

Dear Young Person

Preamble
ast year, I felt a crushing blow of defeat on an immoral issue (in my city), upon close examination and review of events, it became clear to me that the opposition is not the problem (not darkness at all) but people who are supposed to be light, but whose light is dim or is hidden under a bushel. It occurred to me that, we are where we are in the world because of the church (the body of Christ).
I discovered that there are weeds among wheat (or religious people among believers). In my own way and understanding, I have written about them as the "types of Christians" (see Nigeriaworld.com archive). I was discouraged at the level of spiritual corruption within the church, and to top it all, the attack or intimidation of/on Believers speaking truth, is actually coming from religious people within (some think you don't go far enough, while some think you are too far out - I read all critic, eat the meat and throw out the bone).
As I sought the Lord, on what He'll want me to do in this critical arena (Righteousness and Public Policy) in 2014, it was clear to me (perhaps based on where I am in my parenting life) that, I need to support the fight for righteousness but I'm to move couple of steps ahead, and combat the lies this generation have told young ones, especially those from religious homes. So, from time to time, Uncle Femi would write you publicly on topics, that I believe the enemy has lied to your generation, and I expect you to do your own study (hopefully with your parent) each time, I write you. After your study, discuss the topic with your youth group.

Definition
Science is the study of... (nature, humans, world, etc.) based on facts learned (gathered) through experiments (laboratory) or observations. There are many branches of science, some like engineering (chemistry, genetic etc.) are purely based on OBJECTIVE laboratory analysis, some like psychology, anthropology, (Social Sciences) are based on SUBJECTIVE observations and analysis, and some like Medicine (Medical Sciences) have a combination of both OBJECTIVE and SUBJECTIVE analysis (both an art and science).
Faith is the belief, devotion or trust in someone or something without logical proof (Webster dictionary), the bible defines Faith as being sure of what you hope for and certain of what we do not see (because of faith, trust and belief in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior).

SCIENCE AND FAITH:

At creation God, gave humans dominion over every other creation on earth, he created us differently from other animals (each after its own kind). He created humans to have more intelligence than other animals (which has enabled us to create weapons and machinery that enhances our dominance) - while other animals might be bigger and stronger, we (humans) have the intellect to subdue and dominate.
God is the one who gave us the intellectual ability. In Deuteronomy 29: 29, Moses wrote the following to the Israelites "the secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the Words of this law". Based on His timing and history (past or to come - future events are history to God), He allows or give us insight to know a little more of His majesty, those knowledge is now what our generation classify as sciences, whether it is medical sciences, or engineering, or astronomy or whatever branch of science we find ourselves (as a dad, to a future engineer, I pray daily that God will reveal secrets that would change his generation in biomedical engineering to him).
Allow me to open your imagination (as I believe it), on how God reveal things to human at His timing. The book of Revelation of Christ was written about 70AD, and its content has been read through many generations. In Revelation 11, the bible talked about the death of the two witnesses, and that for 3 days the whole world (verse 9 - every tribe, people and language) will gaze on their body, while those of us reading it today would immediately think of GPS technology (satellites), those who read it from the 1st century to the 18th century, could not even imagine what that verse is saying, how everyone in the world could see their dead body simultaneously?.
Through what we now call science, God has revealed what we need to know, when we need to know to us. It is interesting to note that, there are things God has revealed clearly but there are things that are still hidden from us. God has (in His grace and mercy) given us insight to know more about ourselves physically and emotionally. Through mathematics, we now have principles and laws that have helped created things that have made life easy such as cars, airplanes and other household items, and technologies that facilitated easier communication. Genetic engineering is a product of this century and it has already been helpful in treating human diseases.

ne of the most interesting element of the current Nigeria political gridlock is the defection fever which has gripped the country's political gamut as the man at the epicentre is not realizing the 'amazing disgrace' he is causing the country with his assertive political distraction. Sometimes successes cordon some people's sense of judgment as displayed by some political gladiators like Chief Olusegun Obasanjo who "…will not miss an opportunity to miss an Opportunity'…" as explained in one of my articles published, Wednesday, August 3, 2005, www.nigeriaworld.com. He refused to manage the opportunity created for him by God.
Ironically, adding pressure to already tensed atmosphere in Rivers State; is the arrest of over 320 Islamic fundamentalists, popularly known as Boko Haram, in Rivers State. Historically, Amaechi has opened the gate for the group's infiltration into the southern part of the country by way of engulfing the country with terrorism. How the group found its way to the South-South, through the borders of Rivers and Imo States, with over 17 loaded buses, allegedly owned by the former Inspector General of Police, that originated from Jigawa State, led by one Bala Mato Dambam, is a challenge to the Nigeria Intelligent Agencies. Another report has it that the terrorist group, Boko Haram, could attack Lagos State soonest.
In addition to what Amaechi's political infatuated ambition is causing, could be in concert with the prediction that Nigeria would extinct from the world map in 2015. There is also the allegation of Amaechi's creation of 'Non-Indigenes' local government in Rivers State, under the new political scribe; the Non-Indigene Political Pressure Group, NIPPG, for the APC Rivers. NIPPG would protect the interest of over 1.5 million non-indigenes residing in Rivers State; which might accept Boko Haram Terrorist Group. Definitely, Amaechi association with APC may have prompted the River State invasion by Boko Haram, which is a direct challenge to MEND.

Rotimi Amaechi borrowed a leaf from Obasanjo's book of mismanaging an opportunity granted him by God. Amaechi became the governor of Rivers State through the PDP repulsive political foundation within the volatility political environment; endorsed by politically polluted Nigeria Judiciary; where citizens vote for the political party that sponsors the candidate. According to Section 221 of the 1999 Constitution, as amended: "No association, other than a political party shall canvass for votes for any candidate at any election or contribute to the funds of any political party or to the election expenses of any candidate at an election". In addition, Section 177(c) of the Constitution also states that: "A person shall be qualified for election to the office of the Governor of a state if he is a member of a political party and sponsored by that political party."

In line with global trends, the Nigeria Personal Computers market is expected to drop further in 2014 following the proliferation of smartphones and tablets in the country.
Our correspondent learnt that device manufacturers were already re-strategising in this regard.
Strong global and indigenous brands, our correspondent also learnt, were already adjusting budgets to give more attention to their smartphone and tablet divisions as against the PC.
Device manufacturers, which hitherto, had plans to produce or assemble only PCs, it was learnt, were already factoring in smartphones and tablets production or assemblage in their processes.
The Regional Director, Africa, Turkey and Israel, Asus (a global devices manufacturer), Mr. Shawn Chang, told our correspondent that from the firm's statistics, PC sales dropped by 15 per cent in 2013, and was likely to drop again by another six per cent in 2014.
Contrary to this, he added that the global tablet market rose by 14 per cent in 2013, and is expected to rise further by 21 per cent this year.
